Manjolai

Manjolai estate is a hill station situated above the Manimuthar Dam of Tirunelveli district of Tamilnadu, India. This is a reserved forest and can be visited only by getting permission from the forest department. This dense forest consist of beautiful tea plantation and forest trees.
It is an adventurous travel for people who interest to visit Manjolai. Getting permission is a tedious process, while travelling to manjolai there is an check-post where you should  submit the permission letter.Manjolai is a reserved forest because of that there is no hotels or restaurants available. There are  some villagers running smalls shops and tea stalls in the place called Naalu Mukku, here you can arrange break fast or lunch by informing advanced. There is no lodges to stay, for staying the travellers should book the forest department guest house at "Kudirai veeti" or the TNEB quarters at "Kodaiyar".
